It's Been A Long Time...

Image
How an ideal university life should be... (credited to topshelfmag.net) Well, it's been a long time since I last checked on my blog -- Oh wait, I've checked on it a few days ago; change that to: It's been a long time since I last updated my blog.  Now, that's better. Usually, I would find some stuffs or guides to write on or to share, but these few months, I've been so literally busy that I almost have no time to check my blog, let alone update it... Thanks to the life of being a university student--Informatics Engineering (something like Computer Science) major, to be precise. Don't get me wrong... I like being an Informer (a nickname for Computer Science students in my university); I like coding, I like learning how computer works, and thinking the flow of how a software works logically. What I don't like is actually the deadlines... And you know that university life is way different to high school life. While the teachers in high schools are constan

Gingerbread Easter Egg (Humor)

Okay, if any of you guys happen to be one of 9gag  readers, you might already know this Android Gingerbread-exclusive trick. This trick won't tweak your phone's performance, re-skin your homescreen, or do any miracles like that. The purpose of this tweak is just sense of humor. When I first saw it, I didn't believe in it, too... until I actually tried it. Oh, by the way, I'm on 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Those 9gaggers say that it'll work for devices on at least 2.3.4. I don't know if it's right... or wrong. Just give it a try, okay? Find out what the tweak is after the break:

Might Get Longer...

Well, I know it's been quite a while since I last posted. However, my last post about the 'jungle' was true. Every morning, to gain information from the internet (especially about College's announcements, which needs constant monitoring over the web), I need to make a cup of coffee and hang out on the balcony. I only have 30 minutes to do that, too... since my dorm mates always take me out for breakfast at around 6.30 - 7.00 A.M. Unfortunately, things got quite out of my expectation. During the meeting two days ago with parents and new students, the Dean and the Head of Department of my major announced that we needed to take additional pre-lectures called RC which stands for Remedial Course. There are two RCs offered: Calculus and Logic/Programming Algorithm (in case you're wondering, I'm in IT major, Business Information System program), and each of them will cost us money, which will be automatically debited from the participants' savings. For Calculus

BlackBerry Troubleshooting

Image
Look Familiar? Okay, so as what I had written in my first posts, I also own a BlackBerry device, which has gone insanely booming in this country. My model is the 9800 Torch. It's not that outdated... but I kind of disappointed with RIM for cutting its life (read: software update) in less than one year (thank you OS7-equipped device!). I feel like an idiot buying the Torch after knowing that you could get a much better device for the same price a few months later! Ah, okay... enough complaining. Anyway, I've got some tips if you encounter some problems with BB. Although secure, these things could lag like hell (before OS7, I've never tried them) if you don't treat them right. What are the tips? Find out after the break!

I Can't Help It

Okay, so I have the new blog... and I said that I would leave this one out. But heck, I can't do it. To be honest, I have a certain passion for technology and gadget, although I'm no rich man, and there's no way I can keep with the speed of current technological race. I'll just keep writing what I know here, for example: fixes, tweaks, etc. So, yeah... I'm not going to re-brand this blog, or create a new theme--Well, I may use a new theme and tweak some things, but I'll never change the domain. This was the first blog which I kept on updating, and I want it to stay that way. I suppose you can call this re-opening? ;)

New Blog Opened

So, I've finally made up my mind. I'm going to use WordPress for my next-gen blog, in which I'm going to use to write stories and others. Does this mean that this blog is dead? No, it's not. Things are going to change, and I'll just post useful things into this blog, ranging from tutorials, tips, tricks etc. It will be changed from a personal blog, to a 'Mainstream' blog, which is well, going to put just... anything. Click 'More' to find out! :D

A Really Tough and Busy Day

Okay, today when I revisited my blog, I was surprised to see that my last post was over 2 weeks ago. I tell you, I 've really been busy this week. Being a last-year senior sure isn't an easy business. There's a lot of things you need to take care of. I think I'll pour it all down here:

iPad2 n iPhone4S Jailbreak is Live! [GUIDE]

Okay, so I've bought an iPad2 a few months ago. It's sleek, fast, and overall, I'm satisfied with it (although it's kind of limited... ._.). I was just trying to experience an iPad, so I bought a mediocre choice: 32GB Wi-Fi Only. But that's not the only reason... I've already got 3 3G devices. If I had bought another 3G device, my parents would slit my throat (not literally, though :p) It's been a struggle for the dev teams to actually find out an exploit for a jailbreak. I still remember my first jailbreak, when it was @Comex who made it using jailbreakme.com. It's the easiest. Sadly, after the firmware 4.3.3, his exploit became useless. Worry not, since another hacker nicknamed pod2g , along with some friends who are popular in the jailbreaking field( p0sixninja , planetbeing , MuscleNerd ,and pimskeks ), they manage to create the jailbreak app for these A5 devices.

Merry Christmas! XD

Ho... ho... ho, tis is the season where you celebrate! Sing all the hymns, all the songs, and ring all the bells, for our savior Jesus Christ has arrived!

eitueitu.com is Online!

Well, remember about my last post which said that I was busy buying a domain? Well, I guess that's no longer happening since the corresponding website is now online, and ready to be visited! Yep, eitueitu.com is my class' WordPress-based blog which is a part of school assignment. Well, although it's formally an assignment, I'm somehow sure and certain that it will be active, and will turn out more than just an assignment. The author and editor team will sure fill the website with our exciting activities through this last year... and beyond. Okay, since this website is just days old, it sure needs some improvements. Feel free to drop by and give us a visit. Leave us a comment about how we're holding up, and what we should do to improve our website! Oh, here's the link in case you're wondering what to visit:  eitueitu.com

Well, I've just bought a domain yesterday (roughly it costed 19.95U$/year). Honestly, that was the first time I've ever bought a domain, and I'm pretty satisfied by it. The support teams are pretty cooperative (although sometimes rather slow in responding to my chat), and very helpful. Thanks to them, I could make a purchase.

Updates

Image
Man, indeed these months are really busy. I had quite a difficulty in keeping up with the last year in my high school. But... I guess I have a pretty good start. I know which major I'll literally jump myself into, and I know which university to choose. I know some people don't agree, but I have my commitment. But I must say that this month is well... extraordinary. Not only because of my friends, and some exciting events, but also updates in many technological aspects. For example, I have this preview of the Windows Developer Preview, which is said to be the pre-beta stages of Windows8. Although they say that this version is unstable, I can say that I'm pretty satisfied so far. It's a little bit confusing, though... Background Changed...

Image
Well, my second post today... I've just changed the background for my blog. I know the Photoshop cut is very very rough, but for now... I guess I'll just have to make do with that. There are so many characters I've inputted into the poster, taking from many other characters such as Fate/Stay Night, Xenosaga series, Ar Tonelico, and various other independent artworks. The background, like the previous one, is intended to be the cover for my project. The current one is for Project Apocalypse: The Second Voyage, which is the sequel to both the first part and the Alternation. I take the appearance of the characters based on the artworks I've found. Well, I guess that's all for now. I'll post more when I have something to post. Got to keep this blog alive... Credits to Original Creator of the Artworks.

I'm Back...

Yea, it's really been for a long time since my last post, which was last year in December. I've been really busy with my school... With many assignments flooding, and tests... they really drive me crazy! Anyway, I know that this blog still exists and perhaps I'll try to update it as frequently as possible. No promise, though... I'm currently in holiday, for Easter and the National Examination in my country. It's Heaven for us Tenth and Eleventh grader, but hell for the Twelfth grader... Anyway, I wish you luck for all our seniors taking the examination! Image Courtesy of my friend, Jesslyn. Please do visit her deviantart page printed on the image to support her! ^_^

Moving On...

Today, or a few minutes ago... I got an info from my friend (my cousin, actually...) about creating a free website easily. He also asked me if I wanted to help him maintaining the site. Well, I personally thought that it would be a good chance to finally learn about something in the holiday, something which won't stress you out (there's absolutely no test about this in my school, so I can stop whenever I want to) I thought I'm going to give it a try, and possibly turning my attention to the new site. I won't be abandoning this blog, though. I'll try to update it, but I guess it's merely about ideas and other informations. I'll be moving my projects there. If you want to give it a try, you can go to  Google Sites  to try it out yourself. All you need is only a Google Account and you're ready to go. I'm still trying to tamper with it and perhaps I'm going to give a review later.
