Yes, Gatekeeper is Apple's solution to make its OS secure. Its purpose is to stop malware from ever entering your Mac, usually by installing malicious apps from unknown sources. FontBook. The Tool You Need to Install Fonts into Your Mac. In newer Windows (Vista and above), it's easy to install fonts you download from the Internet. You just right-click on them, and click 'Install'. For more than one fonts, you can just select all the fonts you want, right-click, and 'Install'. Yes, it's that simple. However, for Mac... Things aren't as easy, I'm afraid. There's a built-in tool in Mac OS X called 'Font Book'. It's basically a Font Manager, which shows all the fonts you have in your Mac. It's the tool that you need in order to install external fonts. Head past the break and I'll show you how to install them :)

So Thin... Aside from the new iPads and the retina notebook, Apple also announced their new and refreshed iMac lineup. Again, although still retains the same all-in-one design, it's radically thinner than before. Apple claimed that it's 80% thinner than it's predecessor. Mini Goes Retina This is all that we've been waiting for. When Apple first announced the refresh of MacBook Pro line as well as the new 15" Retina MacBook Pro, people were asking Apple for a smaller, more compact, retina display MacBook. Yesterday, Apple finally delivered it. Just as its older, bigger brother, it's incredibly thin... and it ain't cheap... So, what does it offer on the table? Retina Display The Comparison Now, the 13.3" display serves the resolution of 2560 x 1600. That's already more than the 60" HDTV in your home (look at the comparison chart in the left). The display in 15" retina looks brilliant, although doesn't do much when you use it for everyday tasks. Texts look sharper, and it's a breakthrough for design people, and for photography, I admit... but in my case, the 15" normal screen is already enough. Mountain Lion - equipped Mac Okay, I know it's been 2 months since Apple decided to give away Mountain Lion to recent Macs, which somehow surprised me, since no one has ever, really, given away their latest OS, for free (it has $19.99 value. Don't be disappointed if you're pretty greedy like me; wanting something as expensive as possible to be free ;) :p) So, although Apple is a company which now is getting worse in the public's eye (due to its relentless fight against Samsung in court), there's at least one catch: it indeed fulfills its promise, and not in a difficult way, too.
