About The Blog

The logo's not that "flat". But meh, I want a change for once.
Founded since 2010, Terra Novae Blogspot has since become the author's way to continue expanding his knowledge in writing in English, his second language. Even though the author's primary language is Indonesian, the author has been fond of English ever since he was little. Combined with the author's passion with technology, the author keeps feeding Terra Novae with quality articles about technology such as reviews, tips and tricks, and notable news in general.

In case you haven't known already, the blog's tagline is "Be Inspired and Write". This reflects the author's earliest aspiration during the first days of the blog: write whatever and whenever you can. The aim of Terra-Novae Blog is to share the topics which are not commonly discussed in other tech news. One example: this article tells the readers how to turn off the "press home to wake" feature on their iOS10 devices, something which is searched by people, but often overlooked. Another article explains the solution on USB3 ports suffering connecting-disconnecting issues. Our main goal is to share tips like these, that are often overlooked by other tech sites, hoping that they can be useful to our readers.

About The Ads

google-adsense-logo
Google AdSense is our primary advertising partner.
As you read through the blog, you might notice that there are ad blocks shown both in the post and in the sidebar. Advertisements are used as a mean for the author to get some extra income. Believe it or not, the author himself is not a fan of advertisements. However, he understands that income has to be made, and by himself, deliberately turns off adblockers on legit sites with a reasonable amount of ads. The writer himself vows to never flood the blog with ads. Because the author knows that it does not only disturbs the user's experience, but also prevents users to coming back ever again.
